Made 1st reservation!!

I made my first ressie today for June and plan to bank the rest of my points to save for next year. But since I haven't closed yet, I couldn't bank my points. How long does it take to close? I signed the papers last Friday.

It depends who you did the closing with, Disney or a thrid party. We did with Disney and it took about 4 or 5 weeks last Spring. I am sure there are others who can answer this better than I. BTW, Congrats and Welcome Home!

look on your copy of the papers you sign it will tell you - or you can call MS they can also tell you. Sometimes you close early I did MS told me.

We purchased from Disney in December on the 3rd. We were told they would close on the 28th. It got delayed and we closed on January 18th. Then we could bank points.

Thank you - I finally looked at all those papers (couldn't get past the glossy color photos!)and found my closing date.

When we closed I was told that closings are always done on Wednesday. This is the day they go to the county to have the deeds recorded.
