Mad T Party soft opening Thursday May 21

Just saw on FB that there's gong to be a soft opening this Thursday at 6pm, That should be fun

My first thought is that it might be a typo and he meant to list tomorrow (20th) when DCA is closing early for the media preview. Still, it'll be interesting to see if anything happens on Thursday...

typo was me I corrected its Thursday

I learned of the soft opening awhile back and it is wonderful to help spread out the fun. I will be there Thursday with my own special Hatter,, then we will enjoying all the celebrations on Friday at DL. I hope to meet some of you DIS folks then. I'm a lurker to all these forums, Disneyland and DCL.

lilysgig seems to have confirmed that Mad T Party will have a soft opening on Thursday the 21st. That's great news!

Yes, I know DCA is open until 10:00 pm on Thursday. My point, before lilysgig confirmed the soft opening, was that it could have been a typo because I wouldn't have been surprised to hear that Mad T Party was included in the media preview that is happening in DCA after the park closes tomorrow. Just because DCA was open until 10:00 pm on Thursday didn't mean that there would be any soft openings of the 60th anniversary events. The extended hours could have just been to make up for the early closure of DL. Now, I wonder if that means anything else will soft opening on Thursday in DCA...

well I would think the new WOC there not going to change it back after the preview I would not think

That one I'm less sure about because it doesn't take much to change the WoC shows (at least based on the transition from WoC to WoC: Winter Dreams which happened without missing a show). So it's possible that they might preview the new show on Wednesday, run the "old" show on Thursday, and then switch back to the "new" show on Friday or they may run the new show as a soft opening on Thursday. I think it would be awesome if they did that, but I'm not holding out a lot of hope.
