Hi all,
DS (almost 9) had a mad science workshop at school today, actually 3 local small schools joined in. He had a great day, then this evening the people who run it did a presentation for parents and pupils, and it was really good! They did 3 subjects - air, sound, chemical reactions. All the kids got to answer questions and get hands on with silly putty, and sound making items. I think it was the PTA/schools who organised but not sure what the costs were, but it certainly made science exciting!
