Hey all! Still in the beginning stages of planning my wedding, it's not until next May. Just wondering if anyone has ever had their bridesmaid luncheon as the Mad Hatter's Tea Party? Is it like a character meal?? Any idea on cost and the length of the party? Thanks for the help! :wave: princess:

the mad hatter tea party in the dftw planning dvd is not a regular event (although they do have a kids only tea party at the gf) this is a 2 hour special event with alice in wonderland characters that you can book with dftw for a bridal shower, bridal luncheon, etc. at the gf. thats unfortunatly all i know for sure. i believe the minimum was like $10,000? i would ask your em for exact prices & availability.

best of luck with your plans.

I believe that party costs about $10k. I'm not kidding. Based on the cake, characters, and decor that's a ballpark on the budget.

We tried to book that party and were quoted $28,000. for 30 people at lunch time.

They don't store the props, so they re-create them for each party. There is also a HUGE greens fee, because they have to "close off" that lawn from the public, otherwise you can't have characters at the party.

We moved inside and had a princess party in the wisteria room, with the rosie castle and a cinderella character visit. That was about $10,000 total.

Good luck with your planning!

Wow!! That is so much higher than the estimate I saw a few years ago!! Yikes. Glad you still had a great party :)

I was told it was an $8000 set up fee, plus a per person food and beverage minimum. Way too steep for me!

WonderWomanDC;

I have got to ask about your TOT movie clip in your sig. Did you have your reception at TOT? I have known that was an option, but your sig looks as though you are actually inside the building and I was under the impression that the reception had to be held outside the gift shop area. I love the clip!
