Mad Hatter Tea Cup Concern

My daughter wants to ride the cups, I told her I would do it with her, but no spinning.

Since there is only two of us, do they normally out other people on? If they do, I am not too shy to tell them I won't spin and we need to ride a lone, but I want to be prepared before I hurt somebody's feelings that might get loaded with us.

Don't worry - they won't let anyone else on your cup. It will be the two of you alone....

I can't do the teacups either! When DD was 7, she wanted to ride but was too young to ride alone. A cast member was nice enough to ride with her! It saved my day!

The cups are DH's job!!! I'll do any and all coasters....but don't spin me! I don't ever recall them adding more people to their cup.

I will ride Space Mountain, Everest, Rnr Coaster, Tower of Terror, and Star Tours (5 times in a row) but *NOT* the teacups!!!
What *is* it with those anyway? Must be an inner ear issue with me...

But you have to be able to keep your hands on teh control wheel to keep it from spinning.

Isn't it funny how when you get older something changes and spinning is out! I use to love that stuff until sometime in my 20s.

He can't even watch! The spinners are my job! The kids (DD8 and DS5) were psyched to spin the cup but weren't getting much going -- I asked if they wanted me to spin it, they said Yes and I spun us till we couldn't see straight. I stumbled like a drunk when we got out. That's fun!

PS, I'm 47 and spin-averse DH is 42.

I love the teacups and I'm 34, so I must be a late-bloomer to the whole spinning thing! I'm sure one day in the future, though, I'm going to get on them, spin my heart out and wind up praying to the nearest porcelain throne! Just not yet.
