Mad Hatter Cake?

I know they make Mickey Cakes, and mini wedding cakes, and cakes with white chocolate mickeys on them. I was wondering if they make a Mad HAtter cake? I saw on the travel channel (pretty sure) or was it the dvd from disney weddings? Anyway, the scene was like a wedding shower or bridesmaid brunch or tea and they served a MAd Hatter cake. It was so cute! I wonder if they could do a smaller one for a kid's birthday?!

I found a picture off the Disney site. I'd love to get my DD a smaller version of this for her birthday when we go to 1900 Park Fare!

When I got married in 2004, they only made the Mad Hatter cake almost 100 people and I'm pretty sure it was over $900

Wow!! I guess it wouldn't hurt to call and ask, but I doubt they'd do it. We could still get the Mickey cake..I wonder if they'd do a Cinderella type one?

From everything I've seen and read, the GF bakery is wonderful to work with. In fact, some of their larger cakes do come in the mini style. I wouldn't hesitate to give them a call and pose your questions to them. Like you said, it never hurts to ask and you might be pleasantly surprised.

I would call and see! Our wedding cake looked similar to that with rolled colored fondant and it was VERY pricey - and we are in a low cost area and not at Disney!! ROFL! I can imagine it is very expensive there but might be worth it.

From what I've read on here you can call and get mini versions of cakes and from what I've seen they range in price from $45-70. I would call the GF Bakery because it seems like they can do almost anything!

I've seen this on the food channel, I think, and I believe they mentioned that they only made this cake for 75+ people. But definitely call the bakery and see if this do this, because things could've changed since they filmed the episode I saw. How cool would that be, I'd love to get one too!

I also saw it on the Food Network show about Disney Weddings. They did mention that it was their hardest cake to make. That it takes many workers and a few days to make.

I wouldn't get my hopes up that they can make a mini version.

Will the GF deliver the smaller versions to the resturant, you are eating in? Also has anyone even gotten a cake from the DISNEY SPECIAL EVENT cake place??? They do not seem to have the CAKE I want for my friends 50th Anniversary....and GF does,,but some one said they do not deliver,,,,anyone have their phone number??

If you are eating in a GF resort restaurant, then yes, you can make arrangements to have it delivered as your dessert.

I am going to call when my DD wakes up from her nap. I guess it was wishful thinking on my part. I'd even pay $50-$75 just to have that cute cake, a mini version (of course, I wouldn't let my DH know). I could see where it would be hard to make..different color fondants, cut outs, etc. I'll let you know what they say.
