So normal. It's been almost 15 years since I got married, but when I think about the beginning of that day my stomach is all in knots again. I have no idea why, it wasn't like I didn't want to get married. I think it's normal to freak out. Somedays now I wonder why I married my dh.

I am Caroline - AKA Squiddy and as you may have guessed all the ladies are incredibly jealous of me because of my fabulous wit, beauty, and fashion sense! Here I am with some of my MANY male admirers! I am the one in pink of course!

I just realized after reading back that Shannon and I love the same movie - Memoirs of a Geisha. Who knew we would have something in common. I haven't read the book though - I really need to get it.

My DD doesn't trust me at all. This is our convo on the way to pick up her friend for the shopping excursion.

DD: Mom, I don't want you to embarass me.

DD: AT ALL
Me: OK
DD: No "gah Sydney look at the size of that pimple!"
Me: I'll be like a geisha
DD: Huh? Mom!!!!!! That's what I'm talking about. Don't be weird.
Me: I live to serve.
DD: Ugh!!!! And DO NOT smack me on the forehead and say you shoulda had a V-8

That kid is no fun. Smacking her unsuspecting forehead is the highlight of my day!!! But I stayed normal enough to pass muster apparently!

man it was hard to get up this morning! I managed to drag myself to work to find that the boiler went into overdrive and its like 90 degrees in here. I like to be warm but this is ridiculous!

Good Morning/Soon to be afternoon! The kids are off school today, so not a lot of time to chat! Reece has a friend over, so it's a free-for-all here right now. It's amazing the amount of destruction 3 boys can wreak in one morning!

No kidding! Before children I could drink most men under the table. They sucked my alcohol chuggin skills out of me.

Yup! That's what happened with me too. Went from keg stands to midnight feedings, and never quite recovered!

Uhoh.
I hope that doesn't happen to me in 5 years or so when I start having children although it more than likely will.

40 weeks of no drinking (or more if you BF), followed by 18 years of little "adult" time will undoubtedly put a kink in your tolerance my friend!!!!

We have a lot more in common than you probably want to admit Squiddy! For starters, I have that same bonnet. Who knew? And Captain is my favorite drink. (seriously-- read the book. It KILLS the movie, which is really good in & of itself)
