Oh no!! I hope he feels better! Well I think our cat is ready to perish. She used to be this huge, fat orange cat like Garfield. Now she is sooo skinny, a bag of bones, really, and she meows all the time and never eats. She is OLD. I don't know how old though, since we adopted her from the shelter.

What are you up to today?

So in order to get skinny, I just need to keep getting older, meow all the time, and not eat? Got it. No problem on the first one.

Anywho, Reece and DH are now in the woods playing with knives. Anyone want to place bets on who gets cut first??? (neither one are "outdoorsy!" That would be me...)

Later I will be making honey chicken kabobs for lunch, doing some laundry, and watching la Vie en Rose. Then I'm meeting a friend for dinner at Red Robin.

STOP THE PRESS. DH just walked in with a cut finger.

I was going to place my bet on DH and then he spoiled it all by going and cutting himself to soon.

Have you seen those marshmallow guns? I want one so bad! That would be a treat!

I bought one of those guns last year at a craft show for grandson who is 7. Their dog a full size doberman went crazy getting to eat all those marshmallows.

I do, because I am handy. I can get all the pieces at my dad's store except the marshmallows. I also built a ladder golf game for the camper. The things I can do with PVC pipe are endless.

You should see the thing my DM is walking around in at the nursing home. They have taken her walker and wheel chair away and given her a contraption made of PVC pipe. It has a seat but her feet do not touch the floor thus making her stand up and walk holding on to the front bar. When I am down there the first of the week I will take a pic. Looks really redneck but it serves the purpose.

From what I can gather so far, it's a man, his wife, and their baby girl. The wife looks about 12 years old!!! I'm normally not this curious, but we've had three families in this house since we've lived here (7 years) and all three have been D-U-D-S!!!! I'm hoping for nice people, who'll actually cut their grass and not have police called to the home on a bi-weekly basis.

I'll settle for NORMAL!!!!

I hope everyone has had a nice Saturday. We didn't do too much today. I hit the grocery store, got my nails filled and went to the inlaw's for pizza.

I hope you're feeling better today, Bon. I'm a little tired, so I think I'm going to get a bubble bath and read a little before bed! Check in with everyone tomorrow!

Sorry I missed ya Bon! Pedis would've been MUCH preferred over my morning! We went to Manassas around 9:30, ate breakfast at Bob Evans (garden omelet), and then proceeded to spend the next 2 hours at Dick's Sporting goods and 2 different Walmarts trying to find Reece a pocket knife for Scouts! Of course, Dh ended up with 3 golf shirts, tees, and new spikes for his golf shoes. Reece also got a much-needed bike helmet.

Just so he can carry it for 28 years as a combination lucky charm / souvenir of his childhood, including the time he goes to Six Flags and they catch it in their metal detector (because he doesn't even think of it as a knife any longer) and he has to walk all the way back out to where he parked the family car to put his knife in it because the only other choice available to him is to throw it away at the park gate, only to lose it in when he accidentally drops it (while trying to retrieve his car keys from his pocket) into a crack in the outfield of a little league ball diamond that has grown way too large because the field is not irrigated and the summer heat has arrived to dry the ground out to create said cracks which seemingly run to the middle of the earth which is why he will fail to ever find his knife again even when he revisits the same ball diamond outfield the next day with a shovel and a metal detector (not to be confused with the same type of metal detector that Six Flags uses at their gate for screening for weapons).

Exactly! I'm a tent camper, and I told DH there was no way I was schlepping wipes, diapers, etc.. into the wilderness. But really, I have just been insanely busy with school for the past 4 years-- not many free weekends. I am so excited to have leisure time!!!! I feel like a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders!!!! (Someone sing "Free Bird" please!!!)

I found the dentist diet.
I've been going alot the last 2 weeks and she shoots me up with so much novacaine I can't eat the rest of night.

I went yesterday and told her I'm coming twice a week just for novacaine until I lose 30 pounds.


3 families in 7 years! I hope this one is normal.
