ok i just loged in too vmk it said i was baned for 30 days! i havent gone on all day and im baned one of my brotes or sisters must of done some thing! im sick and tierd of takeing the blame for what they do! i sent a message with contact us what if that doesnt work not i cant ever be a CL becuse of my stupid retarted siblings im the oldest of six kids you know how hard i worked trying too keep them from finding out about vmk then they did started playing and got me baned!

you need to set up a private password only for you. I would never let ANYONE on my vmk acct or any account. Keep it private otherwise you are liable.

as stated multiple times here - if someone logs onto your account, with or without your permission, you are responsible for what happens - it is YOUR account, YOU are responsible for keeping your password safe

Your original message did not say you got an IP ban, just that you got a 30 day ban - if you have an IP ban, that can be fixed, and then you can find out which account was actually banned - see www.whatismyip.com for help on correcting an IP ban

Even better then just settinga safe pass for your VMK acct, set up your own computer account and lock it with a pass. If you have Win XP, click start then the little picture at the top of the start menu. Click password-protect (or its something close to that; I'm not on my comp or even a Win XP comp right now).

After that, make them their own accounts; they will be thrilled to have their own mini-pictures and a desktop, and you can give them limited accounts with no password. And if you save your pass into IE, then they can't get it.

I am a "big kid" but I am also the oldest of 12 kids (yes, I said 12) and I got blamed for everything my siblings did until I got Married (sorry). On that note, just remember that there are a lot of nice ppl here on the Dis and just asking a question will get you a helpful response..there are a lot of computer savvy ppl here! (and I am NOT one of them LOL)

I'm not positive, but I think if it wasn't your account that was banned, you could still be a CL, couldn't you? I mean it's not your fault your sibling got banned.

i agree with the language. i extremely don't appreciate the word " retarded ". It offends me greatly..

Yes, it offends me as well. This thread is obviously due to a misunderstanding of the VMK values. Did you do something to get you banned? I don't know, I wasn't there. If what you say is true and it is due to siblings, maybe next time, tell them to respect the VMK values as well. It's just hard for me to believe that VMK would give an IP ban for no apparent reason. 29/30 times, it is usually for a reason, and even if the bans are against the innocent, they are usually corrected.

Ok listen I'm sorry to hear this, but don't take the blame on your brothers or sisters..what if it wasn't their fault? You need to take a chill pill and think before you type. I have 3 younger siblings and I feel you there, I get in trouble for something they do and I try to do and get in trouble..but yet it's because of age, and there was nothing you could do to stop them of finding out about VMK, if this was a matter of life or death I would have more sympathy for you.. next time please take matters more calmly, or count to a certain number and it usually helps bring down the tensity

Good. You just relieved me there. I'm glad that you can still be a CL with an IP ban. One of my mules was reported a lot but I don't think there is going to be a ban since it has been a long time. My little sister plays VMK on one of my characters as well but being five, I don't think she is old enough to do something bad but when she gets older, then I will be scared. She doesn't even know how to spell many words and I think most bans come from talking and she doesn't talk in the game so I think she is fine for now. My other sister knows about vmk but doesn't want to play it. I am the oldest also and I get in trouble when it's their fault too. I also have anger issues and would kill them but I get over it and I'm sure you will too. Hopefully you can get on soon. And don't worry, I won't delete you if I need space on my friends list if you are not on for long. By the way, what did they do to get banned?
