Macy's Parade?

We will be arriving in Orlando the afternoon of 1/1 and staying overnight in a hotel till we can check into our timeshare at Vistana Resort. We planned on staying away from the parks till Mon 1/5, hoping the crowds would be less. But I see that the Grinchmas and Macy's Parade will be on till 1/4. Since we will have a 5 day pass would you think it worth it to go on 1/4 to just walk around, see the sights and hopefully catch the Macy's Parade? We really are not long line people (ok, mostly DH) so we can probably wait to get in lines till Monday or later in the week.

Yes! Take the time to familarize yourself with the park(s), see the Macy's parade and Grinchmas, see a few shows or attractions, and enjoy the theming. After 1/5, the lines will be less, so use the remaining days as you see fit.
