What time do they have the Macy's parade? Is it just once a day? Any advice for the best view?

It starts daily at dusk...say around 5pm or so. To get a good view, line up early and stake out a spot.

After the real Macy's parade wraps up a number of the floats are shipped down to Universal Studios Florida to be used in their daily Macy's Parade, during the holiday season.

they also pick loads of people to take part in the parade to help carry the balloons. We were picked and it was a great experience. They have people out all over the place asking guests to take part. My suggestion would be to watch it one day, and take part the next as it really is a fantastic parade to see.

Fun Facts: Several UO TMs are brought to NYC every year and are in the actual Macy's Parade! Then several representatives from Macy's are brought down to USF for the duration.

Several of the balloons from the parade in NYC are brought down and used in the USF parade. Larger balloons (Scooby Doo, Garfield, Curious George, etc) are anchored around various parts of USF. The toy soldier, the star, candy canes, etc are used in the USF parade.
