Just another option I use once in a blue moon... a reverse ring for your current lens. You need to be up close and personal but it's fun to play with. I don't have any real need for a macro lens, other than for when I'm bored and want to play

, so a few hundred $$$ was too much for me to drop. I spent $10 for a 72mm ring. Not the easiest option, especially since you need to do everything manually, but it's just for my own amusement
I took these the night I bought it.....
Lil spider that made me scream like a girl when it climbed onto my lens when I forgot to pay attention....
Random bug about 1/8 of an inch big....
Burning match....
1/2 of my paycheck.......
I know you probably have no intention of going this route, it can really be a pain to get used to. I just figured I'd throw it out there for the guy like me who only wants to play around without dropping big cash.
