So we recently got a Maclaren Major for my son for our upcoming Disney trip. In the past we have gotten the stroller as wheelchair sticker/GAC, when we were using a regular size stroller. Do I still need to get one for a Maclaren Major? Or will CMs recognize it as a s/n stroller? It does sort of look like a regular stroller on steroids, so I'm just not sure. I'm leaning towards getting the GAC/sticker, just in case.

In theory you would not need the tag and GAC but it is better to be safe than sorry. It is better than wasting time arguing with someone over whether or not your new pushchair is entitled to be treated as a wheelchair. The tag and GAC is something that is automatic in the brain of a CM. Tag means treat like a wheelchair. It just clicks in their brain.

Congrats on the new chair and send me back some dole whips, please.

When my son still fit into his Maclaren stroller we got questioned a couple of times just because it looks like a super size umbrella stroller. We always got a GAC, so we didn't have a problem. Always get a GAC just in case. :cool2:

I agree; much easier to get it at the beginning of your trip then to have to explain over and over what it is... Have a great trip!!
