Mackenzies MAW Pretrip Report

Great pictures! Looks like she had fun at her wish granting. Can't wait to hear the news of dates and approvals. Also, I must say- I love her second wish of Harry Potter! Great choice!

great pictures!! Itdidn't even occur to me to take pictures at our first meeting....which I'm kicking myself for. We had gotten home from the hospital earlier in the day and we were wiped, but happy to have them come so just went with it.

I went to Disney one time just after Christmas, but all the decorations were still up....they are SOOOO beautiful! December would be a great time to go if the earlier time doesn't work.

I do hope Mackenzie's wish dates come through soon - she made the same wish as my DD Holly - Holly's second choice was feeding giraffes at Animal Kingdom!!

Im sure you will have tons of excellent pictures to come. Im hearing this is just the start of a magical trip that will last well beyond the vacation. So excited to be planning right along with you

See our girls are determined to make it to DISNEY . They are like ok either way i want Disney lol

I am sure there will be. My husband is the picture taker and I am shocked that he didn't take any that day, but oh well, I am sure there will be many more memories that are captured on film! We may be in Disney around the same time. We are looking at the second week of october as our first choice and varying weeks in October as the rest. We will see. I cannot wait to find out when, how long etc, so I can start planning too

Mackenzie like the typical 10 year old she is was trying to evesdrop on our planning with Make a Wish today. My 8 year old thinks since we are going in september that its oh so far away but i informed her how it was only two moths and we are going. Silly Girl. Mackenzie asked me if i thought it was ok for her to dress up like a princess and i said ofcourse why couldnt you. I guess shes at an age that she feels being a princess is borderline cool . Heck if i could fit into a princess outfit i would ( maybe) but im 27 and i still love all the charachters as if im a kid again myself.

Tuesday- Universal Studios- Mackenzie has to see the Harry Potter setup she is a huge harry potter fan
Wednesday- Magic Kingdom- Mackenzie wants to princess it up
Thursday- Sea World and Christmas @ GKTW
Friday- Hollywood Studios - we must ride tower of terror and princess pirate party at GKTW
Saturday- Universal or maybe animal kingdom
Sunday- Tie up loose ends and Fly back home

Somewhere in here im not sure MAW is scheduling a meal with princesses at epcot.

You may want to make time for the Beauty and the Beast show for your princess lover.

When you go to DTD you can ask at Bibbity Bobbity for some "pixie dust" and they may sprinkle your girls with "dust" (Good Luck washing it out LOL).

Make sure you make time to see all the princesses around world showcase in Epcot. Most countries have one and Alice and Mary Poppins appear in UK.

At Sea World, if you plan to feed the dolphins go there first (at opening).

Took Mackenzie to the doctor and she has a total clear to go on her trip now. I told the wish grantor we would need a wheelchair for if she got exhausted. She starts school 3 weeks before our trip so it will be a nice little escape in the beginning of the year

So exciting to have dates! September should be an awesome time to go. I would definitely call your MAW chapter and ask about the dining reservation with the princesses, just to make sure you get the time you want. Our chapter didn't make any ADR's for us. Our expense check was pretty generous. We ate breakfast most every day at GKTW, lunch in the parks every day, and dinner in the parks all days but one. But every chapter does things differently.
