Macadamia Nut Pancakes @ Kona Cafe/food porn...

a while back there was a post regarding these pancakes....I just located my photo of mine from last June. These were without a doubt the BEST breakfast I've ever had at Disney World....DELISH...!




these are a not to be missed on MY list....can't wait for June..!!!

Yum, they look delicious!! Are they only available at Kona Cafe?
We weren't going to do any sit down breakfasts... although we may have to change that!

as best as I know of...the Kona Cafe at the Poly is the only place for these pancakes.

These are absolutely some of the best pancakes I've ever had. At first I thought...hmm pineapple on top of pancakes...but its an absolute to die for breakfast!! I also love the Tonga toast...but its a little too sweet for me (sugar issues here) but I do like that also.

I'm glad everyone liked the photo....its a must try! (in fact I'm trying it twice next round in June...lol)

We ate at Kona for breakfast last week. I had the Tonga Toast and DH had the Big Kahuna platter which had the macadamia pancakes on it. YUM!! Absolutely the best breakfast either of us have ever had!! It will be a not be missed for us in the future!

That is the same thing that DH and I get every trip...this time I am going to request them to hold the french toast and give me an extra pancake...hope they will!

Yummy!! I went to the Kona to have these pancakes and it was SOOOO worth it! I just went alone as DH was still asleep, but I was able to bring my leftovers (which was about half - the portion is so big), back to the room and DH ate them there He agreed, they were delicious!

Yum, now I am craving them after reading this thread!

My DH had tonga toast and I got the macadamia pancakes. We really enjoyed the pancakes much more.

The pineapple is on top; the nuts are in the batter and some sprinkled on top of the pancakes. Sitting on top of the pancakes is macadamia nut butter.

I really dont like pineapple on anything either but I wasnt sure if I could order it on the side so just ordered and pushed the pineapple aside and it was still yummy!
