And that pretty much sums up the issue: Microsoft Windows is the operating system of choice for most business applications. Apple OSX is a great operating system for multimedia applications, though Microsoft Windows does well there too.My situation wasn't a choice... I have both, but use my PC 95% of the time.... I use my mac only for music and iMovie.

. The MacBookPro goes on every vacation with us and it's wonderful! None of our Macs have ever crashed or had viruses, they are easy to use and Mac has great customer service. We have Word, Excel, PowerPoint and some other stuff we can use on the Mac.

And, not even just someone who speaks English.Mac all the way.
Knew after 4 years of dealing with windows and Dell through undergrad that I wouldn't last through another PC.
My mac hasn't been all wonderful but the problems have been minor (and not Mac's fault) compared to the Dell. Besides, things have been fixed nearly effortlessly and with someone on the phone who speaks English![]()
Couldn't really answer because I have both, but I use my PC 100% of the time. I have way more issues with my Mac than I do with my PC. My Mac is basically used as a table right now.
DH has two Macs, a desktop and a Mac Book, but the Desktop isn't working anymore and it's not that old. We have to take it in to the Apple Store soon.
