Hey, post your pictures here!!

After a very late start to the accumulation....I awoke to about 12" of snow in Oxford. Very hard to measure since it's really drifted.

Here's 7 pictures. (Don't go too far or you'll run into past January snow pictures.)

Would love to see some pics from the JACKPOT area!!!

Edited: oh ya, forgot to say it's STILL SNOWING! DH is at guards (figures)....so I better go start shoveling so he can watch the Patriots play when he gets home. GO PATS!!

WOW!! There's some snow!;) I always love the first snow/snow storm of the season. Then by March I'm ready for it to go! Feel free to send some this way...I hate when we end up with a green Christmas. ;)

Have fun playing!!!:D

Splsh --- I'll have to take some pictures! I'm in Rutland, MA and its still coming down here too.....already snowblowed the driveway once this am.......oh, yeah, and DH is TDY to Orlando for an ROTC conference at University of Central Florida.....he called from the golf course this am to see how I was.......and he complained last night he had to buy pants cause its cold down there......yeah....60"s.....I'd take that!

All week long my coworkers said it would miss us and I told them.....NOOOOOO, DH is going TDY, it will be a doosey!!!!

Splsh - my Dad is supposed to GO to the Pats game! He won luxury box seats thru work......and he has to drive out to Foxboro from the Berkshires......he didnt believe it was still snowing here as it had stopped out west!

Hopefully we will get our share soon here in MI!!!!

I'm in the jackpot area - 19" and more to come! However, I am digital camera impaired so I can't post pics. :p It is a winter wonderland! ::yes::

Those pictures are great. Could you please blow some of the snow across the Atlantic in the direction of Central Scotland.;)

Poohbear..... I can relate. It ALWAYS snows (or hurricane....) when they are away! It's the military way. LOL

I remember one time when we lived in Worcester....one of those typical 30" storms....he got activated for 3 days. I shoveled & saved my spot on the street. He spent alot of his time sitting in Armory playing Nitendo (when he wasn't plowing).

I'm uploading the ones I just took. Will post a link shortly.

Roberta
Is it spring training yet?

Great pictures. Our snow never looks that good it is always too wet and goes slushy real quick.

As Tartan Tigger says could you please send some our way but also a bit further South to England??

Would love a white Christmas this year.

Claire ;)

Splsh - 97-98 he was in Saudi for a 1 yr remote and we lived on base at Hanscom...that winter was horrible.

March 2001, he heads to ALabama for 30 days...shows me how to use snowblower but "you wont have to use it" b/c we hadnt had any snow that winter....we got 3 feet the next week!!!

and....here we are Dec 03!

(Oh, and when its warm here and he goes away....I get infestations of spiders, silverfish and other assorted creepy crawlies!!)

Here's a link to my photos:

Well, off to shovel more.....or pay off the neighborhood kids to do it!!! :wave2:

Wow Virgo10. We didn't get any ice...so we don't have bent trees or icicles. I didn't even consider that. That snow drift near your car is impressive.

I work in an insurance agency.....tomorrow should be busy!

Just noticed this art work out my back window. It's free hanging about 2 feet out and away from the house.

Every time I see pictures of snow I realize how much I miss it!! Am I crazy?!?!

Yes, you're crazy.:)

Tell ya what, next time it snows, YOU can come shovel my driveway!! :) That'll get out any part of missing it I bet. :) :) :) :)

:hyper:

I bet if I lived in FL , however, I would miss it too! I really do like the Winter..but 30" for the first snowstorm of the year really took it over the limit.

Christmas would be wierd without snow....but the other 5 months of cold and snow you can have!!! LOL!!!

I need sunshine!:sunny:

The snow pictures are beautiful!! The snow art is amazing. I've never seen anything like that!

OMG! I've never seen that much snow in my life! We're lucky if it even sticks here!

:earseek:

I miss the snow too!! I so want to be back in Boston right now. I can't believe that the two winters after I leave they finally get some great snowfalls. I am so jealous!
