(M)Housekeeping Satisfaction

A bunch of threads have expressed dissatisfaction with mousekeeping in DVC lately. The most recent one:

Had a discussion on just how bad it is. So I thought I would put up a poll as to what percentage DVC’ers have experienced problems with mousekeeping. One thing I do agree with on the last thread was that anything above 10% would be unacceptable anywhere, so I put the top value at 10% or greater.
Most of the recent threads appear to deal with BCV, but to make this resort specific would be huge, so I am just doing DVC as whole; if you had problems, please post a message when you vote at which resort the problem was.

I really have no idea, but relative to all the hotel chains I've stayed at over the years (did a lot of business travel), I have to say that Disney and DVC resorts are among the best maintained resorts.

Clearly there are a few anticdotal issues, so maybe not a 0%, but a can't imagine any more than a 1-3% rate of problems. Personally, I've never had any problem, that I would call an "issue".

Maybe the question should be "In the past 24 months how many housekeeping problems have you had? 0, 1, 2,3, ...".

I think this might be more pertinent to which resort you are talking about. Most of the mousekeeping Issues I hear of are NOT at our home resort of OKW. We have always had great service there, and if something is wrong they fix it ASAP! The biggest problem we have had is last January they did trash and towel two days in a row! LOL!

Oh yeah, and they forgot to lock the door between the lock off unit after day 5, so we actually COULD have used it the whole time! We were honest though, and locked it for them!

Just under 1 % because of most recent trip (see my post on BCV 10/4-11). However in over 25 visits that is the only housekeeping issue.

With approx. 100 nights in DVC rooms, we have never had a housekeeping issue of any kind. I'm sure they happen. But I'm also convinced that many published complaints about housekeeping, or facitities, or room conditions, or DVC in general, are generated by persons who are aggrevated because they didn't get an upgrade; or a requested room or floor; or other items they felt they were entitled to for one reason or another.
The worst lodging foul up I ever experienced was at the Waldorf Astoria, which convinced me that everyone has a problem from time to time; and as long as they're not on going, we don't get upset when they happen
