Lyric Swap--COMPLETE

pretty pieces Cassey!

Erin, cool you got tagged!
I ran out of ink too...thankfully I had an extra on hand

I should be able to post tomorrow.
I have all of Ariel done and am please with it. My fear is that Ive done my Mexico differently than what the beautiful Italy and France look like.
My Mexico will look like an information bookmark with facts about the pavillion.
Its met all of the requirements but its not like anything Ive seen posted yet. I hope it will be ok.
Ok you people in the Walt group, all I can say is OMG! They are absolutely amazingly beautiful. You have each captured the man in your own way and I am so envious that I am not in the group!

BEAUTIFUL PIECES ........:goodvibes
Makes me wish I was in more groups but I've figured out that means more work for me :rotfl::rotfl:

I absolutely LOVE seeing what everyone comes up with .... I can't wait to start getting swap pieces in the mail!!! :cloud9:

Rita, I can't wait to see the mexico piece. One of the best things about swaps is all the different ideas!

Cassey

Rita, I'm sure your pieces are wonderful!!!

Ariel is "part of your world" which also has the words "Part of that world" which is what I went with.
First layer is velum, second layer is the Ariel specialty paper and third layer is glitter paper.
Do you think I shouls add skittles to the fouur corners?
2) Mexico Pavillion
Facts about Mexico
First layer is regular cardstock, second layer is chilli pepper paper (specialty) third layer is glitter paper. I wanted to go with the "hot" colors of Mexico. In the photo you will see a couple of different charms and each book mark will have a different charm. They will all be tied with raffia.
Questions,
Would you like more raffia at the bottom altho there is just enough for one charm?
Would you prefer to have everything centered or is to the side ok?
I think I need to trim the bottom just a bit.
I didnt know what everyone would think so I just have the prototypes done.
I appreciate everyones feedback. I really feel out of my league on this one!
Thanks!

Do you think I shouls add skittles to the fouur corners? that would look pretty....there has to be some sort of embellishment too to meet requirements....love all the paper choices!

Rita, I love both pieces! So happy to be getting the Mexicon one!

Rita, both pieces look great. You need to add a little something to the Ariel lyric for an embellishment. Skittles are a great idea!

I love the Mexico piece. I think just the raffia at the top is fine. I love how it's slid to the side and not centered. The only thing I might do is trim just a little off the bottom. Other than that, it's perfect the way it is. :goodvibes

Thank you everyone!
I was worried about Mexico the most.
Rachal, is it ok to mail to you this week?
Skittles for Ariel and no raffia on the bottom, just a trim. All set to go!

Love those Rita!!

Rachal, I asked the same question about another shapes during sign-up and Rachel said as long as the bottom layer is at least 3 1/2" (I think), in one direction, other shapes are fine.

Here are a few of the items I have been working on. I hope they are ok and meet all the qualifications.

Magic Kingdom Group: The two green layered papers are textured. I inked the first layer and added a leaf brad.

The EPCOT countries group: Red paper is shiny and I used vellum. inked and used brads.

Walt Quote Group: The bottom layer is shimmery, white layer is inked, used vellum, pop dotted and brads.

Hope they work!
