Lutz Cars Land preview notes 6/5

and again he quotes a Matterhorn height requirement increase... this time he says 44".
:sad2:

Wow! Great review. I wasn't too excited before, (not a fan of the movies) but now I am. I'm going to wait until fall when the kids are back in school and most of the bugs are worked out though. If gives us something to look forward to.:goodvibes

Sounds exciting, these reviews pretty much coincide with what I was thinking, do both RSR and MJJ, skip LFT.

Cant wait to see it all next week!:cool1:

Sounds like LFT is a skip . I'd been a bit dubious about that one from the past tests.

YA, I noticed that also, I hope disney will post the correct Matterhorn height
requirement soon.

You know, we should probably start a new thread about height requirements, just to make sure everybody gets a chance to weigh in :rotfl:

Luigi's Flying Tires sounds increasingly as though it's going to be a bust. Oddly, this makes me want to ride it even more, in case it does get yanked it would be nice to have at least tried it out.

Doesn't it seem like Al just loves to dig into Disney staffers, be they execs or otherwise? It seems the CM's are the only employees at WDC who are spared his wrath. :)

Wow just read it! Great review! Yeah it does sound like LFT is becoming a miss! I know a few CM friends and 2 have been on it and neither were impressed. They said it DOES get better the more you ride it, but it just never reaches the full potential like people want. Its slow, takes time to get going and confusing in terms of the direction it goes if two people ride it.

That said they can spend a long time tweaking it and making it work so I dont think its going anywhere anytime soon. They will be spending a long time trying to make a sucess first thats for sure. It is funny though, such a simple idea and this is the SECOND time in decades they tried it and doesnt seem to improve much at all. Curious to see when the real reviews pour in for it opening day!

That was a great review!! I am so excited to see it in the fall. I can't wait for RSR and to eat at Flo's!!!

Wow, what a great review! Its going to be so much fun to read these reviews over the next couple months to see how DCA changes some of the deficiencies listed before our trip in December... Thanks again for posting the review!

CL sounds really cool, but I fear the new land still isn't enough to be a full-day park, leaving DCA with it's "half-day" moniker and keeping Disneyland full to the brim. I hope I'm wrong.

With new dining options, CL, 18 new entertainment options, WOC, Alladin, Animation Academy, etc., it will be practically impossible to see all of DCA in one day.

Besides, with park hopping, neither park should be a full-day park anyway. We will leave that to Orlando. :goodvibes

You make a good point, I'm re-thinking my statement (I think I'm just a Disneyland homer.)

I understand what you are saying about DL, though. Even if the DCA transformation is successful, it still brings even more people to the overcrowded DL side.

Could someone tell me what the fianl expense was for the remodel & new land?
