Lutz Cars Land preview notes 6/5

With new dining options, CL, 18 new entertainment options, WOC, Alladin, Animation Academy, etc., it will be practically impossible to see all of DCA in one day.

Besides, with park hopping, neither park should be a full-day park anyway. We will leave that to Orlando. :goodvibes

Well to be fair not all of those 18 entertainment options are for DCA alone, but yes most are!

But I agree in general, this will probably make DCA a full day park! Now it doesnt mean it will be a full day park for EVERYONE, but it does mean that if you decide to stay in DCA all day, which is usually 10 hours for the average theme park guest, then yes there will probably be enough to do in theory!

I will be doing DCA all day on opening day and will not go to DL! Of course with the crowds, everything will be longer that day anyway, but I dont think I will have a problem filling up my day with all the rides and entertainment out day. I guess I will see!

and again he quotes a Matterhorn height requirement increase... this time he says 44".
:sad2:

With the Matterhorn now raising its height requirement to 44 inches for the new lawyer-friendly bobsleds, it would seem that Radiator Springs Racers could slot into the traditional role of the first “big kid” ride a youngster experiences with Dad at Disneyland.

That sure does imply that RSR not only has a Height Requirement of less than 44", but less than 40", like Matterhorn used to be. Otherwise, all the 40" rides would be the first "big kid" ride.

There have been numerous reports now that RSR will be 40" but I think it will also be a little "tamer" of a ride than all the other 40" "mountain" rides.

Could someone tell me what the fianl expense was for the remodel & new land?

Last figure I saw was $1.4B for the overall project, but that likely include Project Sparkle and the Matterhorn redo.
