Lurkers....time to de-lurk!!!

Hi Everyone! I have only been to Disney once and that was last year. I am already hooked and am hoping to plan a second trip soon. Thanks to the podcast and the boards, I felt so informed on my first trip and got way more out of the trip then I otherwise would have. I am hoping to gain even more knowledge for the next one. Thanks for all that you do!!

Hi Everyone, I post very infrequently, but lurk often. I went to DISapolooza this past December, so I've met all the Podcasters and met some great DISer's, but I still am nervous about posting. I usually only do so on the Podcast board. I'll try to come out of my shell!

I'm a lurker here, but am pretty active with my facebook friends I have made here. Especially if you play Farmville. I mainly read the trip reports boards and dream about my next trip. Whenever that happens to be.

I'm a serial lurker, too...been around for almost 3 yrs, but you couldn't tell by my post count!

I'm obsessed with Disney World and LOVE the podcast. But DH prefers to vacation in different spots, so it's been 3 yrs since our last Disney trip with no immediate plans for any in the future. That's why I don't post much. I just feel like I don't have a lot to add. I let the people with more info than me speak up.

Pete, if you're reading - thank you for setting all this up so I can get my Disney fix, even if I can't visit the parks!

Good job Pete, at getting all the lurkers to come out and say Hi!

I visit the boards daily and wait anxiously every week for the podcast. I guess I don't post because it seems like every question gets answered accurately and quickly. I mean, how many people do you need to tell you that a Disney trip IS educational!

Trying to convince DH to book Podcast Cruise 2.0 - hope to see you all there!

Even though I don't consider myself a "lurker" per sey since I have been a member of these boards from the very beginning and do occasioanlly make posts I can see where you could think that Pete. In reality I am just shy and dont' have much to say. It seems that everytime I come up with something to say someone else has already said it which is fine with me. The way I look at it "Great minds think alike". Rest assured everyone - I am one of the Dis' oldest fans, absolutly ADORE the podcast (honestly the Dis unplugged is the only reason I broke down and bought a ipod), and I spend waaaaaay too much time on these boards reading and enjoying myself.

As you can tell I have a weird sense of humor (which is probably why I lurk instead of post). My family, friends, and students have to put up with it but it can be hard on virtual strangers.

I'm posting to see how many posts I have. I post so infrequently that I don't know if I'm still earning my ears or not.

I've been listening to the podcast for a couple years. I have to admit I didn't realize there was so much activity in this area of the boards. I was playing catch up at first but now that I'm listening to current March podcasts I actually know what some of the thread titles mean! It's like there's a secret handshake over here and everyone knows it. Thank you to everyone for being so welcoming and thank you to the podcast crew for giving us a glimpse of your personal lives. It really does feel like family and everyone is so nice over here

I'm busted. In nearly 10 tears as a member all I have is a hand-full of posts. I found this site while researching things for our honeymoon. About a dozen trips since, I still listen to the podcasts and check the boards for what I might be missing.

I would post more, but I'm just never sure if my sense of humor would play well on the boards.

Oh, and I hate smileys.

This is eerily similar to group therapy. Where do I pay? Is this covered by Obama-care? (oh no, I brought up politics, at least I didn't pool hop)

Hi there! I am a lurker on the boards. I listen to the podcasts all the time like most of you but the boards always seemed a little overwhelming. And it seems so many people know each other I have always worried about how to get started.

But now we are planning a trip at the end of August and are praying for a Free Dining announcement so I have been turning up the lurking dial to SUPERLURKERTASTIC levels in the hopes that I will learn some piece of invaluable gossip.

Thanks to all the podcast and DisBoards team! Where else could I obsessively read about this stuff when I should be working?!
