Lurker No More!

Hi Everyone! I just wanted to say hello. I used to be a lurker but decided to join in the fun! I first began lurking back in 2000 when DH and I were planning a trip to WDW (which was fabulous, BTW) and then I hadn't been back to the boards until recently when I was researching a trip to Sea World. I wandered over to the DL board and have been lurking ever since. I live in Southern California (1 hour from DL) so I've been there many times but not recently. DH and I had APs about 6 years ago when we lived closer to DL but it never even occured to me to come here during that time. And now I'm so excited because we are going to be getting APs again soon! Actually, the reason we're getting APs is because of the lurking. I kept reading so many fun things about DL and people's trips that I just couldn't resist the temptation any longer.

BTW, I am also PinkBudgie's sister.

Well, no real trip plans yet. We were planning on going sometime in September when it's not as crowded but DS, who has had numerous medical issues, will most likely be admitted for an in-patient program at CHOC for 3 weeks in November and i don't want to miss out on some good off-season time at DL so I think we'll wait until after Nov. to get our APs.

The thing that gets me is that we'll be about 5-10 minutes from DL but DS won't be allowed to leave the hospital during that time. So close, yet so far away.

If you go in November, it will be so nice with all the holiday decorations. It is so magical during that time.
