Lunching Pad?

Probably a stupid question: I'm not usually a fan of CS restaurants, but notice that the Lunching Pad has a taco dog and a philly steak cheesesteak dog that sound different and interesting. Can someone describe these to me? Is it an actual hot dog with a weiner and then a bunch of toppings on top of the weiner, or is just those toppings in a hot dog bun (and no weiner)? Any pictures?

It's a real hot dog with the "themed" toppings on it (can't think of a better way to describe it) My friend liked the taco dog so much we went to the Lunching Pad twice. Here's a pic:

Sorry to hijack this post but can someone tell me about the cream cheese pretzels at this place? Do they still have them? Are they warm? Sweet?

While we are asking questions, does anyone know what a CS meals is here, as in a side and dessert? We were wondering if the frozen drinks fell into either of those categories. THANKS!!

A CS meal is pretty much what you see in the picture. The dog, the drink, the chips, and the cookies. I honestly can't remember what your other options where as far as the chips and cookies go, I think maybe pretzels and brownies? Something like that? The frozen drinks is a snack if memory serves. The sweet cream cheese pretzel is also considered a snack. Honestly I wasn't very impressed with the pretzel. It was one of our "we must find and consume otherwise our trip will be for naught!" items...and we could have done without it. The pretzel is rather bland, and the filling is good but there's not enough of it to hold up to the pretzel. I took to spliting open the pretzel and eating the filling out of it That being said, you'll find a lot of people on these boards that swear by that thing. I guess its one of those things that I'm glad I tried because otherwise I'd have always wondered about it.

Don't know if they have it there, but you can get one at Gasparilla Grill and Games at the Grand Floridian. Grab a table outside (first come first serve) and you have the best fireworks view meal ever on a cost/benefit basis.

Hmmm! Thanks! I'll be at WDW Sept 10th-18th and then again Nov 26th-Dec 4th. I may just have to stop by early in the morning or mid afternoon, to try one out.

I pulled up a pic I took of the menu in July (to send to a "Coney" fanatic friend of mine), and it shows a Philly Cheese Steak dog, a Coney Island dog, and a Taco dog. Unless there's more than just on that menu board, I don't remember seeing a Reuben dog.

We just got a couple of the sweet cream cheese pretzels, which I really liked. Funny enough, I thought there was a ton of filling in mine, it kept spilling out. It was warm and very sweet - we enjoyed them while riding the TTA
