Hi, i have a question. I've been to disney four times, and yet i haven't found the perfect place for lunch. Do you have any suggestions?:confused3

Are you looking for TS or CS suggestions? Resorts or parks? Here are a few of our favs:

The Plaza-MK (TS)
Columbia Harbour House -MK (CS)
Le Cellier - Epcot (TS)
Captain's Grille-Yacht Club (TS)
50's PT-DHS (TS)

Thanks. The hardest places to find resturaunts were DHS and AK.These were really great suggestions. Sometimes we do TS and sometimes we do CS so i really didn't know what to put.

I'll work on the assumption that you mean CS places.

Epcot - Sunshine Seasons in the Land building in FW. They have a great variety of non-burger & chicken strip options. The bakery items to choose from for dessert are delish! DH & I both got rotisserie chicken with potatoes green beans, older 2 DDs got monster-sized sandwiches, youngest DD had a mini sub. Everybody loved it!

MK - Cosmic Ray's (same chicken as above) or Columbia Harbour House - fish, shrimp, tuna salad, chicken with a quiet dining room upstairs that feels far-removed from the hustle of the parks.

DHS - There really aren't any great options here so we usually end up at Rosie's/Catalina Eddie's. The kids can get chicken nuggets or pizza while we can choose from burgers & hot Italian sandwiches. We really like the sandwiches which have ham, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, & Caesar dressing.

AK - Tusker House was our fave until it was converted to a TS spot. Our last trip we tried Pizzafari, which serves the same sandwiches as Catalina Eddie's at DHS. DH & I wanted to try Flametree but DDs had zero interest in going there.

We stay at POR & love the food court there.

I think the best lunch I've had in WDW was the Grand Floridian Burger at the Grand Floridian Cafe. I also enjoy Coral Reef for lunch. Both of these are much easier to get into than Le Cellier, and, in my opinion, are both better.

Really depends on where you are and if you're doing CD or TS.

We usually do CS for lunch, with a few exceptions. I'll share our top lunch picks. (Top dinner picks are a totally other story....)

Magic Kingdom - Columbia Harbour House all the way. Good food and we love the quiet dining room upstairs.

Epcot - almost every country in World Showcase has a good CS restaurant. Our faves are Morocco, Japan, and France. We also like the Prix Fixe 3 course menu at Chefs de France. ($20 per person.) It's a cheap TS option for lunch, plus we get off a nice little discount for being DVC. We also like eating in San Angel Inn strictly for the atmosphere. And, well, Le Cellier. We weren't going to go there this coming trip, but after hearing that it's going to become a 2TS restaurant, DH wanted to get one more meal there before the switch.

AK - We like Yak and Yeti. They also have a good CS option right next door that has similar cuisine.

DHS - We really don't like many of the dining options at DHS. I would suggest Sci Fi Drive In as a fun TS option. Not really into any of the others. Our usual choice would be to head over to Epcot for lunch on a DHS day.

Our all time favorite lunch spot is Sci-Fi at DHS. :cloud9:

We love the feel of walking out of the hot sun into a dark cool starry night at the drive in movies. It's something that you can only find at Disney. It is a MUST DO for us every trip and we've loved it every time!!! :thumbsup2

My very favorite lunch spots are at DHS and AK.

DHS: Brown Derby! Great food and atmosphere - nice break from the busy park.

AK: Flame Tree - good food and great seating next to the lake with a view of Everest. We usually try to get in line by 11:15 to avoid the lunch rush.

As for EPCOT/MK:

EPCOT: Chef's de France. Fun to meet Remy, good food, good service and so nice to get a table near the window overlooking the lake.

MK: El Pirata is good, when it's open! Our favorite MK restaurant is Liberty Tree, but we usually go for dinner - trying it for lunch next trip.

On your AK day ...Sanaa at AKL!

Get to AK first thing in the morning on an EMH morning (8 am), then take the bus over to AKL (Kidani, first stop, a 4-minute ride) and eat at Sanaa. Book an 11:30 reservation and you're guaranteed a table next to the window, with a savannah view. Then go back to AK for the afternoon ... the park is really hot, so breaking it up is nice, and hey--what can beat a table with giraffes and zebras right in front of you?
