Has anyone done this recently?? Just made a reservation for DS14 (early bday) and he is sooooooooooooooooo excited. Any information, pictures etc. would really be appreciated. Thanks.:goodvibes:goodvibes:goodvibes

I'd love to hear feedback as well. I am thinking about surprising my DH with the Imagineer lunch.

Our elder son and his girlfriend (now wife :lovestruc) had lunch with an Imagineer a few years ago. They had a great experience.

There is a new Dinner with an Imagineer at Flying Fish.

We did this last July - our Imagineer was Cathy Carver, Principal Interior Designer, WDI. She was the lead designer for the Castle suite. Lunch was over 2 hours - 4 courses (soup, Cobb salad, choice of entree, choice of dessert). We really enjoyed it. Cathy talked about her career at WDI and all of the interior design projects she worked on. She had photos from the suite and told us a lot about what went into designing it. At the end, you get a great keepsake - I won't spoil it for those that want to be surprised. We plan on doing this again on our next trip.

We had Cathy Carver too!! This was August 2007, though. It was wonderful!

Can you provide more information on the Flying Fish. I did the Brown Derby a few years ago and enjoyed it.
I wouldn't mind doing one at the Flying Fish as a change of venue

I don't know much more than that. My younger son and I had dinner at FF the last week in Feb and saw a sign that listed the dates. I understand it is every other week for the time being. The sign said to speak to a manager about it but I would think you could book it through Disney Dining.

If you do it, let us know please.:surfweb:

Thanks. I can't find anything on Disney dining but I am going to keep watching.

I meant by calling Disney Dining.

Since it's not a permanent thing at this point, I doubt it will show up on the website. New restaurants even seem to take a while to get on there?

Is the Brown Derby lunch on the website?

The Lunch is listed on the website and when I called to book my ADR for the program they asked if I was interested in BD or FF. I wanted BD so I didn't get any mroe information than that it was now available at FF as well.
