Has anyone done the Lunch with a Disney Artist at MGM? I think it sounds like good fun and we like the Brown Derby.

I'd also like info on this.

How does one set this up - the usual WDW-PLAY phone number?

How long does it last?

I have a 13 year old daughter who spends HOURS drawing and doing graphics on the computer. She says she'd like to work in computer animation. Would this be a good experience for her (accompanied by me of course)?

I did some checking around on this. Deb Wills' WDWIG site has a review of someone's experience doing this. It sounds wonderful!

I called WDW-DINE to see if there were any slots available and the reservationist said they do not have any of these scheduled at present. She didn't know if they have been discontinued permanently or if they're just taking a break.

Considering that 80% of the Florida animators have been laid off, there probably aren't that many to have lunch with to begin with. Keep in mind that it would be an "extra" duty for them, and not all are interested in participating.
