Lunch with an astronaut

I have a ticket to Kennedy Space station with wirgin including transport, but it doesn't include lunch with an astronaut, can you phone kennedy and just get a lunch ticket?

Just phoned them up and booked my reservation, they give you a ticket box number to go to and a reference number to quote, so I am going to lunch with an astronaut despite virgin. Whats better when you phone them up to speek to a person not a recording telling you how you are so important they can't be bothered to answer that ringing phone.

enjoy it, we did this last year with our boys, they loved it - i will say however that we felt the food was nothing to write home about but that's not why we did it. The children found it an interesting and iformative lunch so who cares abou the food. Get in queue early for the best seats.

We went this summer with our 3 boys (7, 9 and 12) and, while most of it went over the youngest's head, the other 2 thoroughly enjoyed it. As already said, the food is nothing special (although there's plenty of it!), but the fascination of having a close-up presentation from a real live space person, plus the chance for a photo and one-to-one conversation with them afterwards, is immense. Very highly recommended.
