Many of the menu items are the same on the lunch and dinner menus posted on allears. For example the mushroom filet is on both but more expensive at dinner. Is the portion different?

I can't address the portion size since we've only had dinner at Le Cellier, but I will say that we've had our best WDW meals there. Since it's a hard ADR to get, I would gladly take a lunch there if I had to.

I'm not sure of the portion size either but most restaurants will serve the same thing at lunch and dinner but with a higher price in the evening. Strange but I guess people who go out for dinner are willing to pay more money than someone that is grabbing lunch during work time.

However - I do recommend LeCellier for lunch over dinner. It's much quieter and pleasant. The prices, as you said, are cheaper and you have sandwiches available as well.

i agree with above poster - lunch is quieter at le cellier and more civilized (compared with the dinner crowd) - there are also salads and sandwiches on the menu - the filet is probably identical to the dinner filet, only cheaper - we've had lunch at le cellier and will do the same in december (we get the cheese soup, burgers and dessert)
