Lunch reception pricing: *Ending* before 2pm, or *Beginning* before 2pm?

I've been really confused from reading various sites with info about reception minimum per guest pricing.

I keep seeing that a Dinner event is one that *BEGINS* after 2pm.

If your reception begins before 2pm, but ends after 2pm, what is that considered? Lunch? Dinner? Lunner? Dinch?

(BTW, sorry I'm making lots of new threads for each question but I thought it'd help to have a separate relevant title for each topic. Moderators, feel free to consolidate if you feel this is inappropriate. )

If your ceremony starts before 2 then you qualify for lunch, any ceremonies starting after 2 (like mine at 2:30) are considered dinner. It doesnt really matter what time your reception starts, its based on ceremony time.

I'm not a moderator but I just wanted to let you know that I like separating each question in a separate thread. I have been reading so many PJ and and wedding reports and things get all jumbled together in my mind. I have also been listing some of my questions as separate threads - this way I can keep my planning straight and not have to look through hundreds of different threads for certain things.
