Hello, I'm trying to get my last couple of ADR's set for our trip to DW Thanksgiving week. I know that I'm really behind!! But, I was actually able to get a reservation at Akershus, the Princess restaurant in Epcot. I was so excited that I just went ahead and booked it (I really love Scandinavian food and my daughter loves princesses). The time that I got was for 3:15 PM. After it was confirmed, I looked at the times for lunch and dinner, and lunch ends at 2:50 and dinner begins at 4:20. Where does that leave us? Is it lunch or dinner? Will the princesses be there even though it isn't really lunch or dinner? Do you think that they added that extra hour on for the week of Thaksgiving because it will be so busy, but they don't normally do reservations during that time? I am still pretty new to this, so I'm probably missing something, but it is really confusing. Please help if you can!! Thanks!!

I definitely think it's lunch. They could of extended it. Of course the princesses will be there! We had lunch there in Sept and it was very good. I really enjoyed the cold buffet and the desserts! The princesses were great, have a great time!

Yes, this is normally the rule. They'll extend hours if needed when the parks are going to be busy. However, make sure you verify when you check in at the podium if it's lunch or dinner - as I believe they're two different prices.

Have fun!

I am pretty sure it's lunch because when I called yesterday looking for a reservation, she said lunch goes to 3:30pm.

Thanks so much for the help!!! So, I guess it is lunch. I'm just so glad that it really is a true dining time, and that the princesses will be there!! I can't wait!!!!!!!
