I would like to get opinions on Royal Table lunch or dinner, food wise wich is better? We have been for breakfast and enjoyed it, but we would like to switch it up this time. Any information is appreciated. Thanks:thumbsup2

Have never been for lunch (are willing to try it sometime though) but we have done the dinner twice with the third time coming in January. We really enjoy CRT for dinner (more than the breakfast, which we like too). You do get the Princesses at the dinner as well, and also lunch too (some people do think that there are no Princesses except for breakfast) and the food is really really good. My DH and I really like the Pork tenderloin. Good luck deciding.

a note on the lunch menu - according to reports on this board the Major Domo's Favorite pie has been replaced with a split rib with mash potatoes meal. The Major Domo's was my favorite lunch dish. We were there late June which would have been about a week before they removed it from the menu.

I can't give a recommendations since that one dish is what both my wife and I ate.

My family had dinner at CRT in December. The appetizer soup (beef barley) was good. We all had the beef tenderloin entrée. It was okay - not bad, but not really exceptional either. The desserts (chef's trio, mousse, and sorbets) were all really good. The main reason we had dinner at CRT was so that we could "watch" the fireworks from inside the castle. Getting to see the fireworks (at least some of them) from through the stained glass windows was a real treat. We'd already seen the show from Main Street earlier in the trip, so this was a chance to see it from a different perspective. Overall, we liked CRT more for the ambiance and experience, than for the food, but we would still willingly go back.

We were there for lunch in May and last month and liked it both time. The major Domo was very good in May but no longer there last month. I tried the ribs and wasn't impress by it. I found it blend. My mom had the PORK THREE WAYS and it was very good.
