We have only had breakfast at CRT. Anyone who has eaten lunch or dinner there? Was the food good? Was it worth the cost? TIA!

We didn't enjoy our dinner there. We really just wanted the experience but now that they have turned it into an expensive circus with gross food we are sticking with breakfast from now on... how can you mess that up.

I have a reservation for here for our upcoming summer 08 vacation and we can't wait!!!!!!!!!! I had a lady tell me that she had just eaten there and had fun and said it was really good. Although I've never eaten at the CRT for any meals, I think the dinner gets a bad rap just because it does'n't have all the princesses but instead has the godmother and the mice. I say, WHO CARES?? LOL:lmao: It is all about the experience of eating in the castle and seeing and getting your picture taken with Cinderella in my opinion:lovestruc Plus, I think that eating dinner versus breakfast and lunch would be even more special since it is at night and with the stained glass windows, I think it would be VERY pretty. Plus, we enjoy a nice dinner on our vacation versus lunches. We enjoy breakfast too. With all the other places you get to see the Princesses, I don't personally think you are missing much. Whereas, you don't get to see the Fairy Godmother or the mice all over the place. I say, GO FOR IT and decide for yourself. That is what I'm doing. Everyone has a differing opinion and if you base not going on what someone else experienced, you might miss out on something great! Give it a chance and HAVE FUN:thumbsup2

As the one poster stated that it was gross, I've heard people say that the breakfast and lunch wasn't anything to write home about. So, I think you go for the experience and I can't imagine the food being so substandard at Disney. I think there are people that will nit-pick and complain about something and find fault in everything. Just go and experience it yourself. I've read the good & bad and you have to decide for yourself to try it on your own and then form your own opinion. You'll never know, if you don't try:thumbsup2

minority but I liked my lunch. I've had a couple of the items, from what seems to be a non rotating menu, and have enjoyed both. It is expensive but some of that is related to the mandatory picture package. Since we would have ordered the pictures anyway, the cost doesn't seem so high to me. Askerhaus prices are now closer to CRT since they have added the picture package has been added,

Besides, my daughter loves it.

Thanks for all the opinions. I really enjoyed our breakfast that we had in the castle. It was all about the ambience! :thumbsup2 I just don't know if it would be worth it for everyone this trip. My nephew is now 14 and not a big princess fan-but maybe I'll be able to persuade him for lunch!

We had dinner there and I was glad we did it. I did not think the food was great and our server was not the best but my girls loved seeing Fairy Godmother sing. We are going back for lunch this time, just to see how it compares to dinner.

They'll love having the princesses come to the table! :lovestruc

We did lunch at CRT and LOVED the food. We are not picky eaters but really did enjoy the food. We thought it was very nice. Even DS16 had a good time. We had FG and Mary Poppins... it was our first time to WDW so pretty much and character (or a very peppy waiter ;) ) would have made our kids happy.

I wont say that the food was gross, it was decent, the bread and salad were really good. I had the lamb and thought it was ok. My Dh was still hungry when we left but the food was good.

I am going to CRT for the first time in August. I have read so many bad reviews that I have always avoided going there. We are going this time because I really want the experience of eating in the castle. We choose dinner...I hope we are not disappointed.
