What's the lunch options? I know for brkfst there are actually 7 choices - some better on sea days, some quicker for port days
What are all the lunch options? Topsiders buffet, sitdown lunch at Parrot Cay?, Pluto's, Pinocchio's

Luimère's is usually open for table-service lunch, too. I think that Parrot Cay serves lunch on sea days only, usually a buffet, also. In addition to the choices you've listed, there's always room service. This is nice for sea days, especially if you have a verandah. It's nice to sit out there and eat lunch.

We always liked Lumiere's for lunch most days. It was a nice chance to sit in a peaceful, quiet, cool restaurant and enjoy a relaxing meal. We just decided ahead of time that on shore excursion days, we'd eat on the ship because, heck, we already paid for it:cool: . Pinnochio's/Pluto's near the pool is good fast food while swimming. I don't think we ever did Parrot Cay or Topsider's for lunch.

We are kind of the outdoorsey type and we like doing the buffet at Topsiders and eating out on deck. We tried both Luminaires and Parrot Cay while on the Western in Sept. but were not overly impressed. We ended up eating with children and we did not think the food was that great in the sit downs for lunch.

You know when I read this question I had to stop and think....we NEVER even had lunch on the ship! Breakfast was so big and we had early dinner and so much to do that we never had lunch....

I know at dinner you can not wear shots in the restaurants but what about breakfast and lunch? For the past two cruises we ate at topsiders for these meals but I would not mind something a bit nicer. however I don't want to get "dressed" for lunch or breakfast and DS would never go for it. Dinner is hard enough!

They ask that you not wear wet swim suits but shorts are fine. Most people there had on shorts.

Lumiere's table service - daily
Palo brunch -
Parrot Cay char brkst - sea day
Parrot Cay buffet - port days
Topsiders buffet - daily
Room serv
brkst on disembark day - assigned by dining rotation & time

We often skipped lunch too. We had a big breakfast in Topsiders around 9:00 or so then were too busy to think about lunch:p . We usually had ice cream, fruit, or fast food late in the afternoon to tie us over until late seating.

I'd like to suggest to take time to lunch at Lumiere's. We only managed to do this twice, but I wished for more. It was peaceful, the servers could take more time. The entrees are kind of "souped-up" lunch, i.e. chili with wedges of corn bread, big hamburgers, croissant sandwiches. There is no kids menu, as at dinner, but there is something basic. The buffets in Parrot Cay are also nice, quieter than Topsiders, nice selection of fairly basic food based on a theme. And there is usually some kind of made to order. The stir fried rice or noodles at the oriental buffet was good. These places are a great way to get away from the noise and crowds.
