LUNCH: Liberty Tree or Tony's???

Thank you everyone

It seems pretty unanimous... So we are going with LTT

It is a shame what has happened to Tony's though. The last time we were at Tony's was in 2000 and it was one of the highlights of that trip.

We ate at Tonys a week ago and it was very good. Hubby had the baked Ziti and I had the white flatbread. I thought the restaurant was charming and the service was excellent. It doesn't compare to a gourmet Italian restaurant, but great for lunch.

At risk of sounding like a broken record I agree that LTT is great for lunch - but I too would pay OOP. I love the salad with apples, cheese and pecans - YUM!

Another broken record here:rotfl2: :rotfl2: LTT or Plaza Restaurant for lunch

Have a Magical Disney Day!!

Tonys! DH and I ate there in Oct and he loved it! Great food and a nice enviroment

We haven't been to LTT for lunch, only for dinner, but it was good. However, I prefer Tony's. This restaurant seems to be held to higher standards than most others, perhaps due to it's highly desired location or maybe people just expect more from Italian restaurants, I don't know.

But we went to Tony's for lunch in August 2008 and we had a great meal. The service was good, the restaurant was clean and the theming was very nice.

As with any Disney park restaurant, you will be disappointed if you expect a gourmet dining experience, but Tony's was excellent in our opinion.

If you liked Tony's in 2000, you'd probably still enjoy it...maybe even more. 2000 was about the last time we had a meal there and to us it was just not very good. Nothing terrible but not as flavorful as we expect with Italian. We had lunch at Tony's last month and it was quite a bit better than 2000 (or so). However, I did vote for LTT.:goodvibes

I've noticed on these boards that people have very fixed opinions on what makes good Italian food.;) If Tony's was a highlight for you, you'll probably still enjoy it very much.

BTW, our service was great at Tony's and all WDW run TS restaurants are clean in our experience.
