Lunch boxes with kids meals

I have heard people mention the lunch boxes that some kids meals come in at the parks. I was just wondering are they only at certain counter service restaurants or do all of them have them? If they are only certain ones, which ones have you found them at? Thanks! I think these would make cute (cheap!) souvenirs! Jennifer

I didn't see them last year or would have bought them. I did purchase inside the MK a snack box for around $5. It had a juice box, mickey pretzels and couple of other items inside - cannot remember! sheese sorry anyhow it did come in a pastic lunch box and makes a great keeper item. We found it outside the poc ride.

At BB & TL you get childrens meals served in green sand pails with shovels!

This is a great souvenir!

We got them at MGM in the Backlot Express counter service. Haven't gotten one since the 100 years of magic (2001?) so I'm not 100% sure if they still have them.

at all the CS places while we were at DLR in March. I am not sure if they still have them in WDW. I wish they had different colors/styles, all ours were the same!

I picked up a lunch box in a yellow school bus design with the gang of characters on the front-- Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy and Goofy. I bought it at a garage sale this week-end. Anyone remember these? How old would someone say it is?

Are the ones in the pic that beattyfamily posted above the ones you are referring to? If so these are available at the food courts-at least they are at the ASMovie. We just got one last week and as Beattyfamily said, they are a great souvenir when empty, too!

Although I did look for them elsewhere to bring back for my grandkids, I did not see them anywhere in MK, yet that does not mean they don't have them there. Inside was apple juice, peanut butter crackers, raisin, M&Ms and a napkin. "somewhat" healthy but a fun little "surprise."

The blue one with Mickey and gang was available in May at the Backlot Express (near Star Tours) for $1. Comes empty and I bought 2 of them. If I had more luggage room, probably would have bought more. Very cute for a snack box at school.

Like Jrjac said the ones I saw at ASMo had snacks in them not lunch. I did buy my DS a lunch pack at ASMo with Smuckers PBJ, raisins, Cheetos but no drink and it was in a disposable clear plastic box.

The ones I posted picture of did come with a meal...Backlot Express at MGM. Of course, now I cannot remember exactly what it was because it's been about 3 years since I got one but it was a kid's meal, not a snack.

Allears menu for Fantasmic counter service area lists a "Kid's Boxed Lunch". Is it in one of these? Anyone know what it includes?

At the Fantasmic show you can get a kids meal - PB&J uncrustable, juice box, teddy grahams and raisins I think - that comes in a clear plastic box with a Mickey/Fantasmic decal on it. It looks like a small lunch box and I think it's $5 or less. I don't even know if this is on the menu board but they always have them when I ask.
