If you had to choose between these character meals, which would you choose? My 2 yo loves the characters at both, so it really comes down to which is a better dining experience.

Tusker is a buffet, and GG is a sit down all-you-can-eat meal. Which would your family prefer? Ive been to Tusker for breakfast (not lunch thou) and i can honestly say its one of the better buffets. Ive heard the same about lunch! :thumbsup2

For me, I prefer sit down. Hubby has no opinion either way. Kids are young enough that they will go along with whatever.

I am leaning to garden grille at this point, character buffets seem to be more on the chaotic side based on my past experiences.

Your right, buffets are normally more chaotic! In that case, give GG a try! Good thinking. :thumbsup2

Go to the Garden Grill for sure!! I went there for my birthday a couple of yrs ago. The food was great, their are nice views of the living with the land ride (the restaurant rotates), and go to see all the characters twice. I have been to the Tusker House as well but could not find a lot of food to suit my taste.

We recently did the Tusker House lunch and Garden Grill and while the food was good at both the chracter interaction was MUCH MUCH better at Garden Grill.

Thank you! That seals it for me, the characters are the main reason we are doing either one.

Never done Tusker for lunch but have done Brfst and dinner. I personally would choose Tusker over Garden Grill. More variety more food i'd eat. Our one trip to garden grill I at cucmbers from salad, had slice of beef and some mashed taters. And I don't know but garden Grill just seemed bland to me, not much going on i food dept or with characters. I personally think of Garden Grill as health foodie place.

I got a kiss from Daisy at Tusker house... So, I've got to give the character interaction a :thumbsup2

We took DS at 19 months and then again when he was 4 to Garden Grill and really loved the character interaction. DD went when she was 21 months and enjoyed it too. I like that you don't have to get up and when you are meeting the characters, there is no one else around.

We did Tusker House lunch buffet back before it was a character meal. I don't think any of us "loved" it but it wasn't bad.
