Has anyone done this? We're probably going to have to wait around for our Vons delivery and I thought this might be fun. I'm sure we'll be starving!

Anyone know the price of a draft beer? I'm far, far too cheap to get one of their specialty cocktails.

Thanks!

Yes I have had lunch with my family of four a Trader Sams many times. It is actually a good time to visit Trader's Sam's as it is easier to snag a table inside right after they open for lunch (the evening's can get very crowded as it does not have a large interior space). I do not remember how much a pint of beer costs as I usually order the tiki drinks. But if you are price sensitive, just know that it is not a place for cheap eats. I would say our lunch bill for four people (two of them kids) averages $100.00. The food is good though (I love the ahi poke) and the atmosphere is fabulous.

Thank you for the reply! I've seen the food menu prices (Pretty much as expected, we're well conditioned by WDW prices.) and the pricey specialty cocktail menu prices but can't find anything on beer. I'm good with an $8-10 beer but not a $20 one. Neither of us are interested in the collectible mugs, just a salad, a flatbread and a couple of cold ones while we wait.

Tangaroa Terrace might suit us better but DH gets kinda grumpy after too many QS type meals. We love taking a midday break at the WDW resorts but I find the lunch offerings at DLH kinda skimpy.

If you have any interest in trying the various cocktails- I know at the WDW Trader Sam's you can order them without the souvenir cup for a significant discount- they still serve it to you in the fun glass you just don't take it with you.

Thanks, DH might try one if it's not too $$. He loves a good margarita. I'm pretty much a wine and beer girl, don't care much for cocktails.

We've had both lunch and dinner there. We always sit outside and order from Trader Sam's, but also grab some to go stuff from Tangaroa Terrace and bring it back to our table. You can get any type of drink and you do not have to pay to keep the souvenier cups.

Trader Sam's and Tangaroa Terrace are some of my favorite places at DLR. It's such a great area to get away from the craziness of the parks. I was there in March and my mojito was $12, so not too bad. I want to say that the beers were around $8. They also serve some fun non-alcoholic fruity drinks for about $5. Enjoy!

Thanks so much for the prices. I think lunch at a Trader Sam's is a go!
