We leave for the Boardwalk in two days! and our flight gets in about 11:30, by the time we get to the resort on the ME and get checked in my kids 7,6 and 3 will be starved! Anyone have a suggestion of where the fastest, best food at the boardwalk would be around 1:30? Last time we arrived at the Yacht club around the same time and thought we would head to Beaches and Cream. HA!! It was like an hour and a half wait, and we were lost about where else to go. SO, live and learn, would like to head there with a plan....thanks!

You can order a pizza at Spoodles (take out window) and eat at the tables outside on the Boardwalk. That way your guys can walk around and get some fresh air. You could also bring the pizza over to the pool if they might want to swim. Are you planning on going to the parks on you first day?

No parks the first day, thought we would get there and get settled. We will probably (depending on weather) go to the pool that afternoon rather than waste a whole day at the parks off our tickets....Can't wait! Thanks for the info. :)

On our last trip to BWI, we arrived around lunch time and walked over to the Yacht Club for lunch at the Galley? I think that is the restaurant there. Anyway, they had a great lunch menu and we were able to get in really quickly. The food was very fresh and the service quite good. We will be back the first week of May and will probably do the same thing.

I would take the family to Big River Brewing, you can sit outside or inside, great burgers, appetizers, pasta, I think they even have steak on the menu.
There is a wide variety menu and the food is good. Also the microbrews are good if you need a drink after all the traveling.

Enjoy!

We enjoyed the ESPN club. DS got the chicken fingers and DD got the BBQ, I got the steak and cheese sub, all of us gave it a :thumbsup2 .

:thumbsup2 We like the ESPN club for a quick bite, there's usually not a wait for lunch. great burgers, chicken fingers and chili. Mini burgers for the kids! last summer we had ADR for China but we were so HOT,Tired and hungry on our way back from MGM to Epcot we got off the boat and went there. There also a discount for DVC members and Annual pass holders I think!

Well, you indicated that your kids will be starving by the time your arrive on WDW property, so my suggestion would be to pick a restaurant where you don't have to order and then wait for your food. I would suggest that you try Fresh at the Dolphin. My family hasn't eaten there for lunch, but have for breakfast and we really enjoyed it. It is buffet, with various stations set up and the food is fresh, as the restaurant name implies. Fresh and the Spoodles pizza window are going to be your fastest alternatives, and I think that the pizza at the Spoodles window is so-so.
