We're thinking about booking a lunch at LTT for our next trip.

We already have other character meals planned, so we're not looking for that. The menu sounds good, has anyone eaten here recently? Is it worth stopping by??

Thanks for all the advice!:goodvibes

I just tried to send a detailed response to you but it evaporated!! LOL!

Anyway - we LOVE this place for lunch, good food, great desserts!

We have eaten here in the past before kids! We loved the Pot Roast. I'm wondering if there is any variety for the kids? Mine are 7,9. Younger one would be happy with a hot dog, but the older one loves "real" food.

This is one of my favorite places for lunch. I have eaten many times over the last 11 years and, while the menu changes here and there, everything I have had has been really good. It is not fancy at all but the food is good and the atmosphere pleasant and cool and pretty quiet.

I agree with the above posters. This is one of our favorite lunch spots at the MK. Our kids are "over" the character thing, so this is perfect for us. Gives us a place to sit and enjoy a meal, and while the food is nothing special, it's good enough. We've always had pretty good service here as well.

We love this place!!:lovestruc I usually book us 2 lunches during our vacations. It's our favorite, then LeCellier.
My son has liked it since he was 9, he's 19 now and still loves it.

We just ate there over our Christmas trip. We all loved it (DH,Myself, DD 12 and DD 8). My DD's ordered the Pilgrams feast and split it (adult menu) and they did not have a problem with sharing at LTT. I had the Crab Cakes and they were so good, full of crab meat. I would highly recommend eating here for lunch. :thumbsup2

This is great, since we'll be on the Deluxe DDP popcorn:: we can do the TS lunch as well, and we usually go to CHH but thought this would be a nice alternative.

So, what is not to be missed here? (besides the crabcakes which sound divine..);)

We just had lunch there on Jan 2. I had considered cancelling but am I glad we did not. We loved it.:thumbsup2 We had never been before and will definitely return. FYI, make your ADRs. They were taking no walk ups when we were there and they were so busy that we luckily only had to wait 15 minutes past our res. time for our table.:flower3:

Do you have any reccomendations as to what to order? The menu sounds delicious! popcorn::

anyone?:confused3

We just got back and ate at ltt jan 3 for lunch...everything was yummmy. even my picky sister said that she would go and eat again. the crab cakes are to die for. and the pot roast was really really good.definitly get adr's it is well worth it...even if i'm not on the ddp ever again i would pay oop for LTT

We had lunch there a couple weeks ago and got really great service.

In terms of what to order the pasta was good-it's very rich and a big portion. The desserts were very good, but the best part was the cinnamon ice cream that came on the apple tart. It's made fresh there and you can tell. I wish we'd known because we would have swapped cinnamon for vanilla in the other desserts.

hmm...this is an interesting topic for me! we went to LTT for dinner a couple of years ago, and were very dsappointed. DGF swore us off LTT for good, but maybe I could talk her into the lunch. I think we are going with the deluxe dining this next trip, so it definitely a maybe- lol!

and I always add on LTT threads, don't forget that you can buy those terrific glass mugs that the sodas come in, for only 5.00 from your waittress. It is my favorite glass in our cupboard and reminds me of being there! Love the pilgrim's feast for lunch.

What's this? do you have a pic of the glass? Is it like a beer stein?

How fantastic! I didn't know about this...:)

sorry, I don't have a pic. But its similar to a stein, its clear glass with the Liberty Tree logo on it. Very nice. Oh, and its been thru the dishwasher a million times and the words or art has not been touched.:thumbsup2

LTT for dinner tastes just like Stoffer's to me. Actually the menu says some of it is Stoffer's. Lunch, however, is a different matter! It is one of my favorite places to have lunch and one of only 2 places that we eat at every trip.

We're a fairly large crew, so we've tried most everything on the lunch menu. The only thing we didn't really care for was the turkey dinner. The pot roast is great and the chocolate cake and apple tart w/cinnamon ice cream are wonderful! I usually decide what to order for an entree according to my mood that day, but every member of my family knows that I will be getting the crab cakes and the chocolate cake. My DD's feel the same way about the apple tart.

Seriously, if you like crab cakes...even a little...you have to try these!

I had the tricorner sandwich, yum! My DD17 had the salmon sandwich and loved it. My very picky DD14 said the tavern cheese sticks were the best she ever had. We shared the crab cakes and seriously, they were absolutely awesome.:thumbsup2 We were so full that we didn't bother with dessert which bummed me out because it all sounded great.:goodvibes

Yum! Hmillerbarilla, I can't wait to go there with you! :cheer2:

Thanks for all the replies and recommendations, everyone! :thumbsup2
