You will be fine. Sure, if you're going during Free Dining, all restaurant ADRs are in higher demand than usual, but Hollywood & Vine is one of the least popular character meals as far as availability is concerned. I've gone on previous trips where we booked our reservation for H&V lunch within a couple weeks of our visit.

Again, if it's a Free Dining period, there's less availability, but I've never heard of anyone not getting H&V when booking early.

Ok thanks! I've booked H&V close to visit (day before once!), but never with Fantasmic tickets, so hopefully those are also not too hard to get.

My ADR date was on Monday and the Fantasmic packages have not opened up yet for our trip. I have been trying every day since then.

Just something to keep in mind if your ADR window is opening soon.

I don't think it is. There has been some rumors (hopefully untrue) that they may be looking at getting rid of it and going with other options, but I haven't read anything concrete about it. My dates in February are greyed out like I don't even have access to reservations on those dates, but my January dates are clickable with nothing available. Not sure what is going on. Hopefully someone will come through with more information. I have a H&V regular reservation made, just hoping for the Fantasmic package instead.
