Lunch at Disney Springs or Epcot

I'm considering changing my lunch plans for the last Saturday in October but not sure. After breakfast I was planning on going to Disney Springs for a quick look around pick up a couple things and possibly a coffee. I am currently booked at Frontera Cocina for lunch. At about 4 that day I am planning on making my way to Animal Kingdom cause I have a dinner reservation at Tiffins (meal for about 6)
What I'm wondering, is do you think it's possible to change my reservation to a meal at Epcot for about 1ish. Or would it be cutting things much to close trying to get there from Disney Springs? Considering stuff doesn't open till about 10am. I'm not sure how long it takes to get through now that there are metal detectors up at the parks plus the bus rides.
I'm happy enough with Frontera Cocina, but since I have an annual pass I would love to maybe try getting another restaurant in Epcot.

It really depends on how much time you want to spend at Disney Springs. If you want to get to EP by 1 pm, I would be at the bus stop by noon at DS, or grab a cab or uber around 12:30 pm. Are you planning on eating in WS? If so, I would take the bus or uber to BC or BWI and enter through the IG EP entrance. You could also exit through IG (if you are only planning on being in WS) and catching an AK bus (or cab/uber) from there. It just really depends on how much time you want to spend in DS and how much time you want to be driving around to parks that day. Personally, I wouldn't do it as it's a lot of time wasted traveling. I would pick EP or DS and then go to AK from there.

Keep in mind to go Disney Springs-Epcot you will need to do one of the following:
  • Uber
  • Bus to YC, BC, or BW, then walk/boat/bus to Epcot
  • Bus to any other resort, then bus (or monorail, depending on resort and day of week, there are some beam closures upcoming)
So it's not a direct route from DS to Epcot unless you Uber. Most of DS doesn't start showing signs of life until 10.

I think you'd be cutting it very close or rushing a lot to do 1PM lunch at Epcot. DS has good lunch options.

You could also walk to SSR from the Marketplace at Disney Springs, and then bus to Epcot.

But, I think a 1pm lunch would be too late if you have a 6pm dinner scheduled. By the time you're done eating, it will be closer to 2pm. Unless you just have appetizers or something, I know I probably wouldn't be hungry to eat a signature dinner 4 hours later.

Thanks. I needed to reason it out and glad I had everyone here to help me. I will probably just stay with the reservation I have at Frontera Cocina. After all I guess you can't do every restaurant you'd like to anyway so maybe I will just save the restaurant at Epcot I would have done for next time. It sounds like I would be rushing around too much and then I might not really be able to enjoy where I am.
