We are arriving at Disney around 11 or 12 and we are going to spend the day at Downtown Disney :dance3: I have never been to dtd so I really need some opinions on where to go and where to avoid. My DH is not a fan of seafood but other than that we are up for anything :cool1:

I would recommend Wolfgang puck express and raglan road for dinner - raglan road is my favorite downtown Disney restaurant! WPE is not too expensive and has good quick food.

We really like Earl of Sandwich for lunch...awesome sandwiches. If you go and there is a long line, don't let it scare you cuz they are very fast. Wolfgang Puck Express is good too. I can't comment on table service restaurants because I haven't eaten at any recently.

Wolfgang Puck EXPRESS in the Marketplace side. Lunch of roast chicken half and mashed potatoes was very good. They also have many good choices. Its counter service. Don't confuse it with Wolfgang PuckCAFE on the West side. Even our bus driver didnt know the difference, but I looked on the map.

For us it's Earl of Sandwich for lunch and either WPE or Raglan Road for dinner. RR has become so popular that if you want to eat there I'd strongly recommend and ADR. Cookes of Dublin is their CS equivalent (we haven't tried it yet).

I don't know about everyone else, but it's tough for us to spend a full day at DTD. It takes us two to three hours max to get through everything (no DQ) so we usually only do lunch or dinner there. We really like WPE, and if you're on the DDP, it's a really good value for a QS credit.

Another vote for Wolfgang Puck Express. Earl of Sandwich is good and a decent value (AAA members get a discount when you show your AAA card) but I prefer WPE. We have enjoyed House of Blues for dinner in the past but I haven't been there since they changed their menu.

WOLFGANG PUCK EXPRESS - can't believe that they haven't forced this into a sit down table service but I am glad they haven't. Everything tastes great and great prices too!!!

i've eaten inside downstairs at wolfgang pucks both for lunch and dinner. the meals were really good and i'd eat there again anytime. the menu is pretty friendly for a diverse group of eaters.

earl of sandwich and wolfgang puck express are really good lunch choices.

i ate at house of blues 2 years ago and got food poisoning and even though i realize that can happen anywhere i just can't get myself to go back. they have changed their menu so someone was looking at the place as needing some improvement so others may have a better opinion.

i ate paridiso 37 for lunch once right after they opened and dishes were hit or miss. some were really good, others just blah...great full bar tho lol.

planet hollywood is like any other planet hollywood anywhere else...ie like an applebee's in my opinion. it's fine...it just is what it is. the pro there would be the huge diversity of the menu if you have picky eaters.

We have really enjoyed Earl of Sandwich and Cooks of Dublin. Both are QS options. Raglan Road looked good when we stopped, but we wanted something a bit quicker with the kids.

If you kids are into dinosaurs, check out TRex. My girls (2 and 5) like dinosaurs and they loved TRex. Food is alright - you'll probably find lots of reviews saying the food is great and lots of reviews saying it is horrible but we thought it was good. As expected, it is expensive. But it is a pretty cool atmosphere with all the dinos, ice cave, meteor showever, etc.

I find it hard to make a day out of DTD, unless you are going to the movies or something. WPE cs and ts are my favorites although I have been dying to try Portobellos, I hear it is excellent
