My kids got to stay up to watch too..... haven't seen them this quiet and sitting watching something for this long other then the tv!

It's pretty cool! We woke DS5 up to show him. He is a space nut, and was all excited about the idea before bed. In his half-asleep state two hours after bedtime, he took a quick look and said, "That's nice. Take me back to bed now."

Just showed the kids before they went to bed at 10:30 and they were all excited. I went to look again just now, and it is a beautiful reddish colour - absolutely amazing!

Just got back from a nice (cold) long walk with the dog and kids ... we tried to take pictures - of course they did not turn out. Very cool! When we started the walk, the moon was 1/2 covered by the time we got back it was complete. My daughter even tried to get a video of it (no luck - as she talks too much and the camera was shaky). We also thought we may have spotted the US satellite they are trying to take down ... maybe our imagination running wild!

Saw it to and was it ever amazing! I showed my almost 5 year old DD and she wanted to know what was happening to "Luna". It was a great sight to share with her.
