Lunar Eclipse Tonight!

I don't know if someone mentioned this or not already, but there is a full lunar eclipse tonight that should be visible all over North and South America and then in parts of Europe early tomorrow morning. It should be pretty cool.

Time of the eclipse, EST, is 10:23pm and it looks like it's going to last about an hour.

This should be fun! The moon in supposed to take on an orange caste as it becomes eclipsed. I hope we have good visibility! It's been a bit cloudy here.

I would love to observe this but it is totally overcast in my part of the US

we had a lunar eclipse almost a year ago, on 11/8/03 (I have reason to remember that night!).

we won't have another total lunar eclispse until 2007.

I saw the moon rise as I was coming home tonight, it should be a great view.

Pretty overcast here tonight too....although the west sky looks a little pinkish right now...I will keep an eye open for it though
