Good morning! I'm happy to be here at my journal today, planning another day of healthy living!
Yesterday we had a super nice visit with Doreen and Todd and enjoyed a nice lunch together at Bahama Breeze. Doreen and I chose our meal very carefully--she had blackened chicken breast with broccoli (good job on that broccoli, Doreen

) and cinnamon sweet potatoes, and I had a portobello and grilled veggie sandwich with a side of fresh fruit salad. Oh, and our table shared an appetizer of coconut shrimp (each of us getting 1, except DH who went for 1/2 the extra lone leftover shrimp). The dessert menu looked quite yummy, but Doreen and I were true to our programs and we skipped the sweets, though I had 1/2 a coffee w/caramel syrup. WE WERE STRONG!

Oh, a special non-food treat was riding around the mall with Todd. I thank your DH, Doreen, for the nice ride!
Today's a new day, and I'm moving forward. The plan:
1. Devotions
Daily Thoughts:
A Time to Think:
The very act of believing creates strength of its own. -Anonymous
(I find this thought very true. If I believe I can walk this walk successfully, I'm well on my way.)
To Act:
Try something new everyday. You never know what youll end up loving.
To Pray:
Lord, let me not forget that Your blessings are to be shared.
2. Vitamins--I'll pick 'em up soon.
3. Water--I'm still working on my morning coffee. Priorities, after all.
4. Exercise--It's so doggone humid, I'm thinking I'm just going to try for my little 1.25.
5. Food--I'm happy for the structure of Monday. I feel like I dodged a minefield of temptation this weekend!

I'll write out a plan for the day after I'm done here.
6. Scale--happily steady at 180. I made it through 'til MONDAY! Now, no more scale until Friday a.m.
Have to have DDs friend at play practice by 9 a.m., then the dog goes to the groomer at 10 (or is it 10:30? Better check). I've got a lot of kids out today, so I'll most of the day to finally get our laundry put away and to run a few more errands.
I'm turning this healthy living day over to the Big Guy and trusting He'll give me the strength I need to make good choices.

to all,
Erin
