It's suppose to open early 2016 but I haven't heard of a confirmed actual date. Nevertheless I'm excited for the remodel.

I was wondering this myself. I knew Luigi's had closed since we last went to DLR (2013) and I am excited to see what will take it's place.

What ever they put in for the new vehicles will be far superior to those flying tires they had originally.........they were just plain bad.

A CM just told me earlier today that the unofficial word is that it may open before the end of the year. Of course, take that with a grain of salt!

That would be awesome, since we will be there at the end of the year and for a couple days at the start of 2016.

It's surprising how tight-lipped Disney has been about this ride. Not even any hype!
Does anyone have any idea what kind of attraction this will be?

I asked the same CM if he knew anything about the ride and he said he had only heard about when it would open, but he said this with a somewhat sly smile and a not-quite-a-wink, so it could be that he truly didn't know or was just playing coy.
