Well Kevin, there was a recent article in the NY Times about spending $$$ and happiness. It basically said that spending $$$ on experiences (like travel, concert tickets, etc.) was the best way to ensure happiness. When buying material goods, the best way to ensure happiness was to spend some time thinking about, anticipating, researching etc. The more time spent savoring the future purchase, the more happiness when the item was finally bought.
I think if you continue to "savor" the thought of buying this bag, you could certainly buy it in February and get maximum happiness!
Just saying....
Amanda
PS This is how I have survived without an iPad for this long. I keep telling myself that spending that $$$ on
Disney vacations gives more happiness than iPad and when I finally drive my DH crazy enough that I get an iPad, I'll be really, really happy!!!!
