We are staying at POR for our first night at Disney on August 31st. Then on Sunday Sept.1 we are moving to OKW. We were wondering if the luggage people at POR would help us with this (and the cost of it) or if it would be better to lug it on the bus with us (we will only have one knapsack each). Thanks for your help.

Bell Services will transport your luggage for you to OKW. It will not be taken to your room- so you'll have to claim it at OKW- Bell Services.

I don't think there is any fee- just tip the Bell staff. They'll provide a claim check at PO and OKW will need that on their end.

The luggage may not be there by 4pm, so be patient, but they are happy to assist with these moves.

If you only have 1 knapsack each, I would lug it on the bus. That way you'll have your bathing suit and whatever else you may want. You can have your luggage checked at OKW when you get there and will have access to it throughout the day if your room isn't ready yet. Patience is the key if you decide to have POR transfer your luggage. Transfers start at 1:00 and aren't guaranteed until 4:00 pm. Two different times we had to wait even longer.
