We are staying a All Stars on arrival night and transferring to the Beach club the next day. Will bell services transfer our luggage for us?

TIA!

Yes, they will. The general advice is to not expect your items at resort #2 until late in the day, like 5pm to be safe (although it should be a little earlier… but can be later!). Make sure to pack a day bag with anything critical you may need during the changeover (medication, bathing suits, change of clothes, dinner attire if you have an early dinner you might not make if your bags are running late, etc). If you are at all worried about the logistics/planning implications of late arriving luggage most will recommend to rideshare or taxi to resort #2 that AM with your bags and drop off at bell services (assuming your room is not ready) - that way you at least know where you luggage is and can physically access it at all times in case something goes screwy. But if none of that is a concern and you want to hit the parks ASAP that morning, having Disney move your bags is a great option.

Enjoy your stay!

Disney will not move anything that needs refrigeration or freezing, so if you have milk etc. at All Stars, you’ll need to transfer it yourself. Once you get it to BC, they will refrigerate/freeze those items for you.

Yes. My rules for using it are
-don’t expect your bag until 6pm (I had a 5:30pm arrival this trip at Swan)
-Pack a phone charger in your park bag
-Put an air tag in it so you know approximately when your bag hits your resort

Yes- I just did this a few weeks ago. I had a transfer from BWV to BLT and my bag arrived by about 4 pm. I would also like to humbly add... If you're able and at your discretion of course.... Tip when you drop off at bell services to transfer and then when you get your bag a the new hotel. I am a bit embarrassed to say that I had no idea how little the bell cast members get paid and how much they rely on tips.

The AirTag thing is a solid tip. We used them for the first time back in May since we were checking bags. Switching from YC to Poly we saw that our luggage made it there around 1pm, which was actually before we got the room ready text.

Also I’m kind of wary about valuables. We had perishables we needed to take over ourselves so I opted to take my personal item bag with my laptop with us. Probably silly but was just for peace of mind. It was still worth it to have Disney transfer everything else because we had droids and lightsabers on top of the luggage.
